Erstens verdeckt er lästige Kabel,
zweitens sind darin ganz schnell Zeitungen verstaut, die man gerne mal wieder am Küchentisch rauskramt
und drittens ist er auch noch äußerst dekorativ!
Firstly it covers ugly cables,
secondyl you can quickly store magazines in it, which you usually like to grab often while sitting on the kitchen table
and thirdly it does look pretty good.

Ich habe meine Fächer extra so groß genäht, dass die Zeitschriften in Ihrer ganzen Breite hinein passen und man sie nicht gerollt reinlegen muss. So liegt er flacher an der Wand und fügt sich besser in die gesamt Küche ein.
I sewed my pockets extra big so that the magazines could fit in it with their whole width. Since it doesn't have to be stored in a rolled position its a lot flatter on the wall and fits into the whole picture in the kitchen.
